Global Experience Design Agency Showcases Conference Room Powered by Galileo Video Wall Processor

Sutherland Labs conference room video wall

Sutherland Labs, headquartered in San Francisco, California, is an experience design agency creating solutions to grow businesses and enhance everyday human experiences. Its Innovation Labs conference room is used for VIP and executive meetings, video teleconferencing and multi-media presentations. The highlight of the conference room is its captivating video wall powered by RGB Spectrum’s Galileo video wall processor.

Sutherland Labs enlisted the services of audio-visual integrator, Avidex, to upgrade the room’s display system. The previous system was cumbersome to operate and limited in capability. Operators were forced to manually piece together visuals onto the video wall, a tedious, time-consuming process.

RGB Spectrum’s Galileo processor provides a versatile and easy-to-use display system which feeds the room’s 2 x 4 screen wall array. It fulfilled the key project objective by providing flexible control of visuals in any manner requested by participants.

The Galileo processor receives computer and video sources which include video teleconferencing, computer graphics, maps, PowerPoint presentations, and spreadsheets. The processor consolidates these sources and displays content in any size, anywhere on the video wall. Display layouts can be changed instantly to enhance viewer attention and interest. Operators can use Galileo’s embedded GUI to select preset layouts, switch and route sources, and size and position windows.

The Galileo processor supports input and output up to 4K resolution for all types of video walls, projector-based, LED and LCD. Advanced features include a unique "wall mimic", whereby the entire video wall or any region of interest can be encoded and streamed for live viewing elsewhere, HDCP content protection, scripting for third party system control, and automatic IP stream discovery for RGB Spectrum’s Zio® Video-over-IP encoders.

The Galileo processor is the ideal solution for conference rooms, security operations centers, control rooms, command centers, entertainment and sports venues, boardrooms, education, corporate lobbies, and digital signage.
