DGy Recording & Streaming Codec

Visually Lossless Recording and Streaming for Mission-Critical Applications

The DGy family of JPEG2000 codecs record, transmit and stream video and graphics at up to 1920x1200 pixel resolution. JPEG2000 compression technology allows these codecs to deliver visually lossless digital recording and streaming.

Overview

DGy codecs are designed for mission-critical applications including simulation, debriefing, training, command and control, and missile testing. DGy codecs support recording and streaming of computer, radar, sonar, FLIR, X-Ray, and HD video signals. Models use external network attached storage devices, such as a RAID, to offer virtually unlimited capacity.

DGy JPEG2000 codecs offer an unparalleled feature set, including external time code synchronization (Network Time Server), event marking, variable speed playback, and frame-by-frame jog/shuttle.

Exclusive DGy Features

The DGy codec provides a failsafe recording feature which protects the integrity of recordings-in process in case of a system accident, power loss or failure.

Multiple DGy codec units can be interconnected to support simultaneous recording of multiple channels. Operation is simple and intuitive using an embedded web-based graphical user interface. Codecs can also be operated using third-party controllers.

Superb image quality, a rich feature set, and outstanding performance make DGy JPEG2000 codecs the ideal recording and streaming solution for even the most demanding mission critical applications.
