NORAD’s U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) Cheyenne Mountain command centers provide aerospace/maritime monitoring and warning, homeland defense, and civil support for North America.
Challenge
The command centers required video wall upgrades that would support disparate visual sources with real-time display processing for 24/7 global monitoring.
Solution
NORAD’s new video walls are equipped with RGB Spectrum’s advanced MediaWall® V 4K video wall processors. The MediaWall V systems provide real-time display processing with no dropped frames. Each processor receives inputs from a variety of situational awareness and video teleconferencing (VTC) feeds.
MediaWall V consolidates and displays these signals in scalable windows on the video wall. MediaWall V processors offer outstanding 4K image quality and an embedded architecture for secure 24/7 reliability.
