I/ITSEC 2018: RGB Spectrum Product Preview

I/ITSEC 2018

Orlando, Florida will host the world's largest modeling, simulation and training event on November 26-30. RGB Spectrum will be in booth #601 exhibiting its award-winning solutions used to help train military and civilian personnel. On display at the booth will be the Galileo video wall processor, Zio Video-over-IP multiviewer, and QuadView KVM operator station using both baseband and Video-over-IP technology.

The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference, I/ITSEC, consists of peer-reviewed paper presentations, tutorials, special events, professional workshops, a commercial exhibit hall, a serious games competition, and STEM events for teachers and secondary students. I/ITSEC is organized by the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA), which promotes international and interdisciplinary cooperation within the fields of modeling and simulation (M&S), training, education, analysis, and related disciplines at this annual meeting. The NTSA is an affiliate subsidiary of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). Hence, I/ITSEC also emphasizes themes related to defense and security.

RGB Spectrum continues to push the boundaries on capabilities for simulations, control rooms, operations centers, and other mission critical venues with the highly configurable Galileo video wall processor.

The flexible Galileo display processor supports analog, digital, web browser, and IP-based sources displayed in windows anywhere on the video wall. The new input/output card for the Galileo system allows the user to select any content to be encoded as an IP stream for transmission across the network. This allows operators to push content to anyone, anywhere in the world.

Zio® Video-over-IP delivers real-time video and audio over any size network. It is controlled through a simple user interface that offers drag-and-drop functionality with live thumbnails for routing streams, allowing even non-technical people to easily operate the system without a 3rd party controller. Zio multiviewers allow simultaneous decodes multiple streams on displays or projectors at up to 4K resolution.

RGB Spectrum's new QuadView® KVM is a complete, turnkey solution that combines a high-performance 4K multi-image video processor with remote keyboard/mouse control of connected computers. It is designed for displaying and controlling up to four inputs in a variety of layouts on a 4K resolution monitor. Touch-enabled routing of audio and video with synchronized switching provides fast access to any of up to seven signal sources.

RGB Spectrum has been a key supplier for many military programs throughout its more than 30-year history. Our products are deployed in applications for all branches of the military, including vessel and vehicle consoles, command and control, simulation, training, missile testing, and C4ISR. Installations include F35 Joint Strike Fighter FMS and P-8 Poseidon trainers, simulators for the Global Hawk/Triton UAV, F-16 and F-22 aircraft, Apache, Kiowa, Chinook, and Blackhawk helicopters, and deployments on the U.S. Navy AEGIS destroyer fleet, the Canada Navy frigate fleet, and the U.S. Missile Defense Agency THAAD and MEADS missile defense programs.
