The MediaWall 2900 Adds Visual Impact to Worship Services

For much of the history of modern spiritual worship in the United States, the "Word" was the message. In our world of dynamic multi-media presentation, the spiritual community is looking to finely tuned visual support to add impact to the spiritual message. Conroe Community Church (aka 3c) in Conroe, Texas, turned to RGB Spectrum for a solution that would result in a visual uplift for its Worship Center services. RGB technology partner Eternal Media Solutions, a specialist in the design and installation of AV systems for the worship marketplace, delivered an inspired solution based on the MediaWall® 2900 video processor.

The MediaWall processor supports three edge blended projectors covering a ceiling high, full stage wide screen. Displayed signals include three computers running the "Media Shout" application, broadcast programs, live video feeds, PowerPoint presentations, Blue-Ray players and Direct TV in up to eight windows simultaneously.

For churches such as 3c, the price tag of an A/V system is a major concern. A second factor is the need to operate it without having to rely on skilled personnel. The value priced but fully featured MediaWall 2900 processor addressed both concerns.

Ease of use was a major plus for the MediaWall processor. The system boots quickly and is ready to use in moments. Cost of ownership is very low since there is little maintenance required and no operating system/hard drive to keep running. The processor offers a browser-based Windows Control Panel (WCP) GUI that is easily mastered and is ideal for live events and the "fade-to-background" feature is perfect for transitioning between presentations.

Gary Burns, President of Eternal Media Solutions and a member of 3c stated, "We had a budget to work with and were happy to find this product. We had never heard of a cost-effective display processor in our market that was able to give us what we were looking for. We are very happy. The MediaWall is a 10. The graphical user interface makes it easy to create and use presets. This is very important when volunteers have to be able to run the system. The user interface offers simple mouse click control of the presentation that takes very little training. It performs beyond our expectations. It gives us the performance and image quality we wanted with the necessary fades for smooth transitions. And we did it all within our budget."
