RGB Spectrum Press Release
RGB Spectrum Showcases Integrated Next-Generation Flight Simulation Video Solutions at I/ITSEC 2026, Building on its Role in Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Full Mission SIM and Mission Rehearsal Trainer

ALAMEDA, California – Nov 5, 2026 – RGB Spectrum® will demonstrate its mission-critical video solutions for flight simulation and training at the I/ITSEC show, November 30 – December 4, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Visitors to Booth 1387 will experience the same Zio® Video-over-IP technology that powers Lockheed Martin’s Modified Mission Rehearsal Trainer (MMRT) and Full Mission Simulator (FMS) for F-35 pilots.

Proven in F-35 Pilot Training

RGB Spectrum recently announced its role in the Lockheed Martin MMRT program, which expands F-35 tactical training and mission rehearsal capabilities in a reduced physical footprint from the FMS. The MMRT connects with other MMRTs or FMSs, allowing pilots to fly simulations or rehearse maneuvers and operations together.

Across both the FMS and MMRT, the Zio video platform delivers high-quality video streaming, recording and synchronized multiview playback. It links pilot cockpits, instructor stations and debrief rooms, integrating and supporting every part of the system up to and including after-action review.

Built for the Next Generation of Air Combat Training

For more than three decades, RGB Spectrum has supplied video technology for fighter, rotary-wing and naval simulators, where low latency and image fidelity are non-negotiable. As new aerial vehicle programs advance, simulation and training systems will be required to capture, distribute and replay more sensor data, at higher resolution, across more networked devices than ever before. RGB Spectrum’s networked video architecture is built to scale with those demands.

“Fifth-generation training sets a new bar for simulation, and the next generation will raise it again,” said Bob Marcus, CEO of RGB Spectrum. “Our work on F-35 programs like the MMRT shows what the Zio platform can do in the most demanding training environments. We look forward to showing I/ITSEC attendees how that same technology can support the aircraft and pilots of tomorrow.”

At Booth 1387

The centerpiece of the RGB Spectrum booth is a demonstration of how the technology works in an Instructor Operating Station (IOS), showcasing how instructors are able to monitor in real time and review synchronized multiview training recordings:

  • Zio W4000 Video Wall Processor: Displays multiple real-time and recorded video feeds of cockpit visuals and external views in flexible, multi-source layouts for complete instructor situational awareness.
  • Zio Recorder: Records and synchronizes simulator video for playback, giving instructors frame-by-frame and variable-speed tools for detailed debriefs.

In addition to the company’s booth presence, RGB Spectrum will present “The Video Backbone of Full-Mission Simulation and Mission Rehearsal” on Wednesday, December 2, at 11:45 am at the Innovation Showcase, free to all attendees.
