Unlike traditional video wall solutions that rely on centralized, monolithic hardware, MediaWall X utilizes a distributed, serverless architecture with multiple input and output endpoints to form a synchronized video wall system. The result is a highly scalable platform that reduces system complexity while enabling expanded video wall capabilities as operational requirements evolve.

MediaWall X combines video decoding, graphics processing, and networking in a system comprising ultra-compact endpoints that can be installed near video sources and displays, reducing rack space requirements and simplifying system design. The system utilizes MediaWall X decoder/display devices and Zio^® 5000 and 2100 Series signal source encoders, plus third-party H.264 (AVC) and H.265 (HEVC) video sources, including IP cameras.

Designed for demanding visualization applications, MediaWall X supports video walls with up to 64 4K60 displays, with video content distributed across display endpoints to create a seamless viewing experience. Each display endpoint can drive up to four 4K60 HDMI displays while decoding multiple video streams up to 8K resolution.
