New this month, Version 3.2.2 firmware brings a number of enhanced capabilities to the DSx codecs for greater value and functionality:
Reduced Latency - codec end-to-end latency is now a remarkably low 90 ms for HD video and graphics, and 120 ms for SD video.
Extended Data Rate Ranges - more flexibility to adjust stream data rates to accommodate bandwidth requirements is now available. Rates range from 512Kbps to 10Mbps for HD video and graphics, and 64Kbps to 4Mbps for SD video. This is a particularly useful feature for satellite transmissions.
Operational Security - Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security protects DSx control by prevents tampering of the DSx control interface from remote sources.
Additionally, the DSx 200 model now supports RGB analog 3, 4, and 5 wire signals to 1280 x 1024 graphics resolution.
