MediaWall V 4K Display Processor Line Now Available in Larger Sizes and with IP Decoding

RGB Spectrum’s award-winning MediaWall® V 4K video wall processor has been expanded with a new, larger chassis option and additional capabilities, including IP stream decoding.

The new MediaWall V Model 550 display processor supports wall arrays of up to 24 HD/2K displays. The 6RU chassis provides the ideal wall processing solution for screen arrays including 4x6, 3x8, 2x12, among others. The model 550 also supports up to 12 UHD/4K displays.

A wide range of input/output resolutions include 4K (4096 x 2160), UHD (3840 x 2160), HD (1920 x 1080), and lower resolutions. Inputs are fully scalable for a video wall of 4K or standard HD monitors.

New functionality for both the original Model 500 and the new Model 550 MediaWall V display processors includes a dedicated Application Processor (AP) option capable of decoding up to four 1080p/30fps or twenty-four 640x480p/30fps IP streams. Users can run Windows 7 applications directly on the AP. It functions separately from the wall processing engine, ensuring that applications and video wall operations each receive dedicated resources. 

Additional features include image overlap to support projector edge blending, full HDCP support on all outputs including unscaled Auxiliary (AUX) outputs, and a foreground graphics display to support an on-screen logo or other uses.
