RGB Spectrum Sweeps Awards at InfoComm 2014

InfoComm 2014 proved to be a great year for RGB Spectrum, with compelling new product launches that impressed both attendees and experts alike. RGB Spectrum is proud that its products were recognized with five industry-leading awards at the show.

Our video wall processors, in particular, got rave reviews.

The GalileoTM Display Processor, our new PC-based, IP-enabled video wall processor, received three “Best of Show” Awards—from Digital Signage, Government Video and AV Technology Magazines. Products under consideration for these awards were assessed by a panel of judges that included AV and IT technology managers, AV system integrators, and other industry experts.  Judges were able to experience the capabilities of the products first-hand on the show floor before making their decisions.

According to Margot Douaihy, editor of AV Technology Magazine, “With thousands of new product introductions at InfoComm 2014, more than 37,000 attendees, 218 new exhibitors, and nearly 200 award nominations, our “Best of Show” Awards help spotlight best-in-class innovations. We congratulate the winners and their commitment to the needs of tech managers and end-users.”

RGB Spectrum’s OmniWall Display Processor also received industry accolades:  a Commercial Integrator BEST Award and an SCN Installation Products Award for best video wall processor.

The Commercial Integrator BEST Awards program recognizes “manufacturers that provide superlative solutions for integration companies.” The versatile OmniWall Display Processor won in the “Video Components and Processing” category.  According to the editors, RGB Spectrum’s cost-effective OmniWall Display Processor offers significant benefits to integrators: “combining a switcher and video wall processor into a single chassis simplifies installation and reduces the overall energy requirements of the system. Integrators can easily reconfigure and expand the capabilities of OmniWall processors as system requirements change.”

The SCN Installation Products Awards showcase “the most innovative commercial AV products of 2013.” After a rigorous vetting process, entries were shortlisted by a panel of industry experts, and SCN readers were able to vote for the most innovative product in each category. The OmniWall processor won the award for “Most Innovative Video Processing.”

“RGB Spectrum is truly honored to have received these prestigious industry awards” remarked Jed Deame, VP of Marketing. “These awards are a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment of our entire team to develop innovative products with advanced capabilities that can address the needs of our partners and customers.”

A very good year, indeed!
