DSx™ Servers

The DSx™ Server is a fully integrated, custom configurable system for centralized recording, storage, management, and distribution of H.264 IP graphics and video. The DSx Server is part of RGB Spectrum’s extensive line of H.264 codecs supporting graphics and HD/SD video at resolutions up to 1920 x 1080.

The DSx H.264 Server offers a fully integrated, turnkey architecture that is scalable to suit a broad range of requirements and applications. It can record and store multiple channels while simultaneously distributing stored recordings to remote stations.

The DSx Server provides a centralized mechanism for handling incoming IP graphics and video streams encoded by DSx codecs and third-party IP cameras to be recorded and stored while streaming recorded imagery to PCs equipped with the DSx Client application for remote viewing. The DSx Server Model 100 records up to 10 incoming streams, the Model 200 records up to 20 incoming streams. Both DSx Server models provide up to 14TB of storage.

PCs equipped with the DSx Client application can receive streaming video and recordings from the DSx Server. The architecture supports use of the DSx Client application on multiple PCs. The DSx Client offers intuitive selection and control of live streams and recordings. Users can view them individually or as a group.

The DSx Server’s advanced capabilities include event marking during recording, random access, frame capture, and CD/DVD burning. The DSx Server’s combination of superb image quality, rich feature set, and outstanding performance make it the ideal solution for demanding, mission critical applications.
