March 18, 2010, Alameda, CA - RGB Spectrum has released its popular Linx 32x32 switchers in a newly designed enclosure with reduced depth. The HDCP compliant Linx 3200S DVI and Linx 3300S CrossXFormat™ models use the same modular input, output and processor cards as the standard size products.

The industry-leading CrossXFormat versions accept DVI, HDMI, RGB or YUV on every input. Outputs are DVI. An option for dual-link DVI in and out is available.

All modular Linx switchers feature:

  • Input equalization up to 50 meters
  • 500mA pin power on the outputs
  • Total EDID Manager™ including RGB Spectrum's unique Input EDID Priority Arbitration scheme
  • Import and export of stored presets and EDID files
  • Support for embedded audio in HDMI signals
  • Pixel reclocking
  • Control choices include front panel buttons and encoder, an embedded Java-based GUI, command line via Telnet or RS-232 and the BP-16 preset select button panel.

With the new "short frame" configuration, 32x32 models are now offered in two sizes: the original 6RU and the new reduced depth (17.5") 7RU version.

Any configuration from 2x32 to 32x2 can be specified. With user swappable I/O cards, users can start with a short loaded frame and add I/O cards as needed. Hot-swappable dual redundant power supplies are standard.

The Linx switcher family includes 8x8 and 16x16 enclosures as well. All are built in the USA and carry a three-year warranty.
