Vice President of New Business Development

Summary:
A leading manufacturer of high-end visual communications products is seeking a seasoned professional to help manage new business development. A background in medical equipment sales and marketing is required. Position is located in San Francisco Bay Area, California.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop major account relationships
  • Develop product positioning, competitive analysis, and detailed marketing plans to successfully introduce new products to the marketplace
  • Perform market research in support of generating product requirements and specifications
  • Identify potential M & A opportunities

Position Requirements:

Seeking 15 + years of new business development or marketing experience. Industrial specialization should include medical, with audio-visual and IT a plus. A technical background is required, with specialized and in-depth knowledge of audio-visual technologies. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Some overnight travel will be required.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering. Advanced degree preferred.
